Just got a text from 618-890-0214 saying \"This is Southwest Credit, a debit collector. Your Charter communications account balance is $839.15. We are authorized to accept $503.49 as a settlement in full. To accept, make your payment by 3-27-25 or call 855-607-2458\". I have NO account with Charter Communications. I was a credit card collector in the past. And we did not send a text to a person. We called them and if that didn\'t work, we sent them a letter. Then if they refused to respond then we sent it to legal. I have no outstanding accounts anywhere. So yes, this is a scam!
