The caller said my son had been in a car accident and that he was speeding and texting, and had hit a pregnant woman. Supposedly, the woman was in the hospital. They said my son had a whiplash, a broken nose, etc. They wanted $15,000 to bail him out of the “courthouseâ€. This caller was extremely convincing, and actually had me in tears. In the end, I did not fall for it.
