They are posing as Amazon Prime Video Tech Support Reps. The person will tell you that your account needs to be verified while trying to troubleshoot connectivity that your having. Then you will be asked to download app that allows them to "see" what your are doing on your phone during the so called troubleshooting process. Afterward will ask you to go on Amazon and make a purchase(digital item) and claim that this will help verify you and that you will get a refund/credit back to your acct so they will ask you to log in to your bank app and give them the POS transaction number and screenshot it, so they can credit your account. Next, they will tell you that they are still having trouble with verification and that they need to do it another way and suggest using Cash App then ask you to scan front and back of DL. By then, I got suspicious and starting asking more questions but they kept **suring me that it's not a scam and that the verification was almost complete. Not once they they mention or help with what was wrong with my connectivity issue. They were only concerned with "verifying" me. I immediately hung, called my bank and alerted them of everything that happen.
