i received a call and was told my microsoft system was compromised and not to access my bank or purchase anything online.they started in on what i needed to do and i told them i had a excellent security system and i would check it.i did and it was starting a test and it showed no threats.checked this number online and found it was bogus.
I hope that TopCl**sAction.com brings a major lawsuit against these bottom-feeders, I would love to join it and collect big time from these TRUMPANZE bottom-feeders.
These people call you and terrify You saying that your computer is being hacked and their Microsoft program is alerting them and you need to give them all of your information so that they can “help†you and prevent the hackers from getting into your bank account and other financial information. We have a fantastic firewall, great security features and our bank alerts us at everything. This is a FALSE FRAUD ATTEMPT SCAM!!!! Their “technician†actually asked me for my bank account so they could “verify†that it was the account they were “seeing†be hacked right at that moment!!!
They robo called me saying that suspicious activity was detected on my computer, and that I should press 9 to talk to an agent. They said that Microsoft had a breech, and not to do ant business on line. Talked to Microsoft, they said no such a thing, they don't call their customers with such things, probably a scam, he said. the name and number is, the name Medford the number 6095468688
This is a scam . They represent themselves as part of Microsoft and keep calling. I have repeatedly asked to be taken off their call list. They are aggressive, rude and obnoxious.
I was phoned by this number, which claimed to be with micro- soft. And my computer was not safe to use. That there was illegal activity in my computer.
