Receive call daily, first call comes in as Northstar, a debt collection company. Rings once and is blocked by robo call program. It is followed up within 30 seconds using 608-371-6666. The Northstar number first used to call is 855-211-4583 I looked up Northstar and it is actually the real number for Northstar Star a debt collector. I called the real Northstar and the are aware of this scam and they could not explain how this scammer is able to do this but they said it has been going on for years. I get these two call back to back usually once a day and researching this issue I see it has been going on for years. I guess there are enough suckers they get to fall for it to keep it up. Goes to show what do not call program has accomplished.

Guys, guys! This is Nomorobo’s number! Calm the ***k down! When a telemarketer calls a person with Nomorobo, it will ask to verify that they’re not a robocaller. This phone number, 608-371-6666, shows as "JANESVILLE WI" on Caller ID. I receive a call from this number 2 to 3 times per week. No message is ever left, but it is a total nuisance and in clear violation of DoNotCall rules. The phone exchange of 608-371 is shown to be with phone carrier Ameritech Wisconsin and shows to be a landline. Please **sist in curtailing/thwarting the illegal efforts of this company and/or individual.

I first get a call from another number, which nomorobo blocks. Within seconds the phone rings again using this number and rings five times. I don't pick up. Only left a message once -- the usual IRS scam. Put it into my blocked numbers.
