They say they work for Apple and that my ICloud has been hacked. It’s automated, and then you are asked to press One to talk to an Apple advisor. When you get someone in the phone they are obviously foreign, with a middle eastern accent. When confronted and I told them I knew they were a hacker, that I’d be blocking and reporting them, they said, “Please don’t.†I asked, “Why shouldn’t I?†And they said, “Becsuse this is how we make a living.†I responded with...â€Oh, I shouldn’t report you because you make a living scamming people?†The guy actually responded with, “Yes.†Are you kidding me?!!! I only answered and followed the prompt because I wanted to ask them to please stop calling. This number and 5 other slightly different numbers all from Merdian, MS called every ten minutes leaving the same message. They are using people’s personal phone numbers to call and scam people. Sick.
