I got a text saying "hello" and I didnt respond bc I dont respond to numbers I dont have saved and then I received another text "please respond". I looked up the number just in case it was a scammer trying to collect information and saw that this number has done this to multiple others so this is not a case of someone in trouble, its a scam.

This # called 2x (I don't answer unknown numbers. Then received 2 texts "hey" "please respond". I responded with "who is this", their response "Alex, are you female?". I asked if they were in danger, they responded "no", then same "are you female? Send pics"" so I blocked the number.
