Change your account p**sword *immediately* and contact AT&T's Fraud Alerts. In the end, they'll offer a "free upgrade" or "gift" - it's a lie, that's their goal. They will try to trick you into handing payment info, both charging your AT&T account for the new device and getting your card number.nnRemember: AT&T are greedy jerks.
