WATCH OUT FOR THIS SCAM!
I was sucked into a scam from what was claimed to be the county sheriff's office. They were going to come arrest me if I didn't pay fines for outstanding warrants for a missed court appearance. This was a very well-coordinated and professionally executed scam, with spoofed Caller IDs displaying the county offices where the calls supposedly originated. I went along for over 2 hours telling them that I had to get money from cash machines to pay the fines. Once I actually went to an AllPoint atm and selected the LibertyX icon on the atm screen as I was instructed, I saw a BITCOIN logo and knew for sure that it was a scam & hung up the phone.
