This person is running scams. Sending out fake checks. I contacted the number and no dial tone or answer. He wanted me to deposit the check into my account but luckily I went to a check cashing place to have them verify it. They tried to contact the ins**tute and they were busy as well. Long story short the check is a potential counterfeit. Please be weary of scammers these days.
