The E-ZP**s toll scam:
malwaretips.com+4
Victims receive a text message claiming to be from E-ZP**s, saying they owe a small amount in tolls and fees.
Scammers send fraudulent texts demanding immediate payment for fake unpaid tolls to avoid fictional late fees.
E-ZP**s warns customers not to click on any links from these texts.
The scam may also come in the form of an email with a realistic E-Z P**s logo, threatening language, and claims of unpaid tolls.
The FBI and BBB have received numerous complaints about these messages.
