Claimed to be Amazon Fraud Department. Claimed a purchase was made in the amount of $350 for an iphone on my account which they flagged as suspicious. They asked if I had access to my computer in order to verify the fraudulent purchase which I did not. They said that they would call me back when I had access to my computer. The male caller had my cell phone number because he read it to me. I immediately called Amazon support and was told that Amazon Fraud department will never call anyone on the phone for any reason. All Amazon fraud inquiries are done via email and that the call I received was not from Amazon and there was no fraudulent charges or iphone order on my account and I should never accept a call from or give any information from any number claiming to be Amazon Fraud Department.
