Called this morning it was a recording not a live person. Said to please call the number on the Caller ID which was 260-275-9588. Said it was Capital Recovery. That's all they said - no name, or other information. Sad to think of how many elderly people might call them back and fall for their schemes.
They call me numerous times a day asking to verify last 4 of SS# and I told them I wasn't stupid, I'm not verifying if its correct or not. Lady on other end says, "thank you for verifying that" and I didn't verify anything. She proceeds to say they are trying to collect $1700 for a fast-cash loan I did! I'm a disabled elderly person living on SS Disability. Nobody in their right mind would loan me money with my income! They use different numbers all the time. They have called me at least 30 times!
