Fraud claiming to be UPS
Text says they are usps. I checked with local postmaster and this is a fraud. FBI will be knocking on their door soon! Federal offense.
Fraudulently represented themselves as USPS and included a potentially dangerous clickable confirmation link.
This number claims to be from the USPS and sends out text messages saying that “your package has been delayed in delivery, click the link to confirm†Do NOT under any circumstances click links you know are fraudulent. I’m not expecting any packages, so I knew it was fraud. Several people warned me before I received it.
Receiving unwanted or harrassing calls from (256) 496-1148? Report It! You can also add your number to the National DO Not Call Registry by visiting their website or calling (888) 382-1222, but many people have complained about it not being effective. If there is something requiring an immediate attention, please contact your local law enforcement agency or call 911.
