Tried to trick me to give her my social security number. Said my acct had been tied to drug trafficking
A woman called and said she was with the Social Security office. She gave her name and ID#. She told me my SS acct had been tied to drug trafficking and she wanted me to verify my SS number so she could give me all the information I needed to clear up the acct. She was very persuasive and said she was closing my acct since I would not cooperate.
Calls the elderly and say that their from the Social Security Office telling them that if they don’t give them their Social Security number and name that their Social Security will be suspended.
