Fraud they ask you by recording to key in your ssn to get you to the right person
Fraud. When you get the message they say you have to call before six today or else. When you call back it’s a different recorded voice saying it’s the “ central processing unit for student loans .,in order to direct you to the proper department you have to key in your SSN AND OTHER PRIVATE INFORMATION. Don’t do it!!
A call from Waco Tx - very long weird pause then a recorded message using your name goes : “ This is an important call for Bob Jones. Our records indicate that your student loans were suspended until September for hardship and are due to begin again. If you are ready to begin again you do not need to contact us. If you are still suffering a hardship you must call our office before 5 pm today.â€
They don’t leave a case number, a persons name to call or a number to call. Just that message / and it sounds really scary the tone they leave it in.
