I got an email that my renewal for Norton is coming up and it’s 249.73 that will be de ducted from my account in 72 working hrs, I never knew I had Norton definitely don’t remember signing up a year ago. Next they said my credit will be billed in the next billing cycle. Then it went on to say they served over a million customers and I’m one of them.. The email look legit there was a purchase ID number on there a number to call if u had questions or wanted to cancel your subscription. So I called the number of course it was a guy that spoke broken English. I tell him I want to cancel a subscription I knew nothing about. He asked if I have given out my personal info. I told him only to credit bureaus to get a loan for a car. He said it had to be them and he could help me cancel. Then he asked me to go to the App Store and download, I got suspicious but I downloaded the app, It gave me like a 9 digit number to repeat back to him. Once I did that it gave me the option to share my screen I got really suspicious and hung up. They called me back 7or 8 times before I blocked them. I felt it was shady because u usually u don’t have to share a screen to cancel a subscription
