Requested upfront deposit for a service. I paid the deposit. But when I asked to confirm the appointment, I was told I would now have pay an upfront damage fee. I offered to pay the damage deposit before the service appointment began, but I was told if I didn’t pay now (6 weeks prior to the service) my appointment would be cancelled and my prepayment would be forfeited. I walked away realizing I was being scammed.
