automated call....tells you that your opportunity to lower your credit card rate is about to expire and you must act immediately. Gives you the option of pressing the number one to speak to an agent, or number 2 to basically keep your current rate. I’ve been getting numerous calls from the 231 area code over a 6 month period. I pressed number one and a male voice answered and stated what I believed to have been the company name, but all I caught was “Clark something or other†couldn’t make it out clearly because he spoke fast and had a middle eastern accent. He then asked me if I had pressed “1†because I wanted to lower my CC rate. I told him yes, I was very interested, but when I asked him what company he was with and explained that all I caught was Clark, the call was cancelled. I redialed the number on caller ID and received a message from Verizon saying my call couldn’t be completed.
