Zelle fraud under the guise of Chase Manhattan Bank. They will always call at about 5PM so you cannot call Chase Manhattan Bank to Verify. Hang up immediately and call your own banking ins**tution to report it. They will try to get you to Zelle Money to Angelica Hernandez under telephone # 914-627-1241. ALL FRAUD BEWARE. The guy who calls makes grammatical mistakes and errors so be suspicious!
Someone was trying to verify that I had opened an account with Chase the day before. Hardly understood them. I told them I was who they were calling but that I didn’t open an account and that I expected I would hear from Chase security
They called said they were the bank and someone was trying to take money out of my account via Zelle. Then they wanted me to open up an app on my phone and talk me through these steps. I told them to go ***k themselves and hung up
I did not validate whom I was. Caller said three time he was validating checking account opened yesterday. I said back three time I did not know what he was calling about; caller hung up. Definitely spam/attempted fraud
The caller was difficult to understand. I kept insisting on going to a local branch for clarity. First I was questioned about a $900.00 and a $1200.00 transactions. Then I was told someone had tried to open a new checking account using my information. I hung up and the caller called back repeating same info while ignoring my request for an in person interview. He eventually hung up. Had a very heavy Indian accent.
