They will lie and tell you that you are being taken to court. Total scam. Debt collectors, block them or have some fun and call them back and ask them for their SSN and address and all that. Lmao
Can’t actually get anyone on the phone to know why they are calling. Glad I read the reports.
Received call from this number. A choppy, unclear message was left indicating legal proceeding will begin if call is not returned. Called number back using a different phone. Person answering the phone did not speak clearly...mumbled speech. When I asked who it was he mumbled agent something (couldn’t make out name he mumbled). He stated he was calling from social security office/number. I let him know I believed it was a scam and I will be reporting him. Report calls from this number! Give no information!
Say SSN is being sued. Hang up! Scam!
They’re pretending to be the IRS. Fake message stating the IRS is going to be suing me. This same message from 6 different numbers around the country have been calling me this year. When you talk to a live person, they try to get you to give up your ssn over the phone.
