trying to scam regarding Coinbase
If someone texts, you from another number stating that someone has tried to log in to your coinbase account, it is a scam! Do not call this number back! Coinbase does not text you or call you!!!!
Important: this number claimed to say that there was a log in breach. How can this be true if this is a personal cellphone??? Fraud High Alert.
Receiving unwanted or harrassing calls from (209) 488-3832? Report It! You can also add your number to the National DO Not Call Registry by visiting their website or calling (888) 382-1222, but many people have complained about it not being effective. If there is something requiring an immediate attention, please contact your local law enforcement agency or call 911.
