They called saying my father owed a 1000 from a previous loan. Advised they would garnish his wages or send him to court and prosecute for more than the original 1000. They provided no information and refused to send me any details in writing. When pushed the woman disconnected the call.

They called my family and myself claiming I owe money from a payday advance from over a decade ago for a few hundred dollars that I paid off. They refused to provide any documentation and said I have to pay today or I’d have my wages garnished and have it reported on my credit report. They didn’t provide me a business address either so it was definitely a scam (likely a previous worker for that company that has access to records because all they had was my old info).
