Received call from a man named “Alex Martin†I.D. #GAP1996. He had an accent similar to someone from India. He claimed to be from Amazon’s fraud department and advised me that someone had hacked into my Amazon account and purchased an iPhone 10. I checked my credit cards an saw no transaction matching his description. He told me it wouldn’t show up but requested I log into my Amazon account on my computer immediately and it would show up. He further stated my account was frozen due to this so called fraudulent transaction and again insisted I log onto my computer and access my account. I told him I would not do that but I would call Amazon immediately and verify his allegations. Once again he insisted I access my computer and I said no I would call Amazon. He then became agitated and told me ***k you lady, ***k you lady. I said ***k you back and hung up. This number shows up on Reverse as a Seattle landline belonging to HHS OS. When I looked them up in google I found no such company. I hope this helps someone else. Never access your computer for anyone calling you on your phone and always verify with the company directly.
