Reports for (205) 413-4900
Monday 11-4-19 1:20 pm I received a call from “Amazon.UK†stating there was a purchase of $77.99 made and if I didn’t make this purchase, call 205-413-4900. This was a robo call.
Upon reverse lookup, this call was from Alabama. I also checked my Amazon account, spoke with a representative, explained what occurred. She will also report this.
Tired of all of these scams and wish there was a way to stop them!
12:40 pm on 8-29-2019 Voicemail call was left on our phone from an Indian accented man stating he was from Amazon and was verifying a $77 dollar purchase from Amazon UK.
We looked up his number on reverse look up and found the number to be located in Birmingham, Alabama. We called, he answered, and when questioned about where he was calling from, he stated Las Vegas. We then stated that his number indicated he was calling from Alabama, he promptly hung up.
BEWARE this is a scam and it will be reported to the appropriate governmental agency.
This number called my mother’s home. The answering machine said they were Amazon verifying a $77.00 purchase online that day. I took the call and told them she did not order anything. They said they would cancel the order., but the could not take it off their card without the card verification. I told them I would handle that for my mother direct!
