Constant calls every 5 minutes or so. When someone is on the line they claim to be from Canadian Mortgage Company or Canadian Mortgage Refinance Company. Received calls from "David Dawson", "Barry Allen", "Jackson". Other times there was no one on the line. Extremely frustrating and annoying. Once confronted that we knew the call was coming from Manitoba, Mr. "Allen" said it was an internet hub & it didn't matter. All are male callers with distinct Asian/mid eastern accents

I have been getting multiple calls from this number saying they are from the government wanting to give me a grant. I have asked them to stop calling and still getting calls. I have gone to the point where u have rejected this number to come through. NOW I am getting calls from a Balton, TX number reguarding the same issue and once again told them to stop calling me and rejected this number as well.Does anybody know who thus company is or it this another scam?? Ask Bell to add call screen to your line so you can block it with *60. Call screen may already be in your package if Bell Canada is your landline provider - not sure about the other companies and what they offer. The caller will get a recording that says you do not wish to receive calls at this time and blocks the call from ringing into you. You can block up to 12 numbers however it may not block all numbers like those that come in on an overseas line. I just blocked this 204 number no problem.

The person that uses this number is male. He scams people and calls them a million times a day. I called MTS they have nothing to do with the calls neither can they do anything about it. MTS said to report the number. The phone number, is from Chromer, Manitoba (Canada). When asked if he was calling from the United States, he said No, from Seattle Washington. Then proceeded to say something about a new continent. And when I questioned him, he hung up. I believe this is a scam. She said it was a government grant that they give each year to citizens that pay their taxes. She had an accent and the guy I talked to was Indian (India). He said his name was Jack. They wanted my routing number from my bank acct. I hung up on him and then he kept calling me every 5 min. They both said that I was getting a grant for $14,566 . Finally figured out what Cromer MB is, it is a scam. They call telling you they are with the Government Grant Department and they will give you 14,000 dollars because you've never filed bankruptcy and have paid bills with the government " so apparently you have some kind of accreditation with them but they need you to give them some kind of I.D. to confirm who you are like a p**sport, state I.D., or even my favorite a military I.D. is what the lady told me. Now I tried asking the lady what was the grant her reply was that just a grant from the "Government Grant Department". She then asked me for an alternate number I told her no I think you call this one enough because you've called me 6 times today.

Requesting private information driver's license number issue date and expiration date as well as my social security number claiming that I get money from the government back to me for paying my taxes on time they just need to confirm my private information they already knew my name and they already knew my address. When I said I'm not in any need of any grants he hung up on me very rudely but he did offer me a company name he claimed to be part of human resource and he claimed that his basic office was in Washington DC he gave me an address and a phone number when I called the phone number back was different from this phone number but it was another Middle Eastern accented man.
