Same experience, Rob Benton, same call back number but originating from a 484 area code in PA.
Just had a message left on our phone from a Rob Vinton (Benton)?? claiming to be with Police News looking for a professional real estate agent to help them sell homes. I never called the number back. It is a scam.
Got the Rob Benton police news messages all using saa as me 202-953-3332 call back but from diff origin. It’s a recording asking fir help buying snd selling scam.
I received the same as below, but the name given was "Gary."
Someone named Rob Benton, with Police News called and said they needed a local Realtor to help police personnel either buy or sell their homes. Left this number, but when I called it was to a different number. Sounds like a real guy!Looked up number and found this website. I'll be deleting and blocking. UGH!!
Telemarketer (LIKELY A SCAM). They call using a different number, in this instance they called in using (708) 659-4665 but left (202) 953-3332 as the call back number. They are using the name "The Police News" (imagine the google results for that name) and claim to be looking for Real Estate Professionals. Anytime someone calls using FAKED number and/or a business name that is so GENERALIZED that will never resolve back to the actual company, you can be 99.44% certain they are up to NOTHING GOOD, DO NOT TRUST.
