Received calls saying from IRS.
Got a recorded message from this number stating they were the IRS and my SS number was affected. No one answered when I called back. Guess from looking at other comments it is bogus! Number is now Blocked!!
automated voice, left a message saying they were the IRS and they have notice to blacklist my SSN, and "please call back on the hotline and do not ignore this message."

The same thing keeps happening to me. I have contacted my attorney general's office on this.

Same scam. I have had dealing with the irs in the past. They will always send a certified letter for anything major. I did a callback from a different phone and was hung up on.

They scammed me for over 3,000$ this number needs to be tracked and taken care of.
A man with a middle eastern accent called and said he was an officer and said I The IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. I asked why and asked for his ID number. He gave me a number and I told him I was uncomfortable talking on the phone. I said to send me a certified letter and I would give it to my CPA. He said they already sent 2 letters and he actually had an old address. I told him I was sure they had my new address as I had already had correspondence wince my move. He got angry and hung up. Is it a scam?
These jokers call me 5 times a day, EVERY day. It is a total scam robot voice telling me they're the IRS and I'm going to jail unless I call back immediately. They end up saying "good luck" which is not how the IRS operates!
