Text message that says "Your Uber code: 8947. Reply STOP to unsubscribe." I haven't used or opened uber in weeks, so I suspect it's a scam.
POTENTIAL scam/fraud... I received a text from this number twice with an “Uber codeâ€, yet haven’t tried to login to or even open my Uber app. It said to “reply STOP to unsubscribe†which I fear would is the trap attempt.
Receiving unwanted or harrassing calls from (201) 254-8136? Report It! You can also add your number to the National DO Not Call Registry by visiting their website or calling (888) 382-1222, but many people have complained about it not being effective. If there is something requiring an immediate attention, please contact your local law enforcement agency or call 911.
