Same experience- Said he was from Gmail and there was SPAM emails being sent from my email and he was **sisting in resolving the issue.

Caller was a heavy accented man. He said he was from Google. Apparently my gmail account had been hacked and was sending out spam. I have blocked this number on my iPhone.

This number actually called my wife's phone I answer the phone for her no one said anything I looked up the number I got nothing so I called the number back just in case it might be important as soon as I did an app downloaded to my phone that had their phone number in my . phone completely froze

Spam. Person said they was from Yahoo's tech support. And my username was hacked. Wanted the computer or device name i access it from, so he can fix the problem. Please be careful. Don't give anyone access to ur device.
