Anything is too good to be true probably a scam I placed an ad on Craigslist for a washer and dryer I was only asking $550 I was contacted by this man by email he said he was on a business trip that he would mail me a cashier's check before receiving the check he text me with a tracking number so I Googled his phone number and came up found out it was a scam and he has done this before I was mailed a regular check that was fake for $1720. Craigslist is a good tool to use for sales. but scammers like this put a good name to shame. be careful

I put a buffet on Craigslist. I was contacted by this number asking me to hold it and he would send a cashiers check. The check arrived for 1950.00 when I was only asking 425. He wanted me to deposit the check and give the rest to his movers. We called the bank that issued the cashiers check and found it to be fraud. If contacted by this man he is a scammer.
