Their beginning line was they wanted to talk to me about my computer. Various number the past three weeks-same line. They hang up when I question them.

Possible phone scam using this wireless #. Neighbors posted the following message on NextDoor this morning:
"Just got a call that was pretty scary.
I had called them the other day with xfinity re: intermittent internet. They “fixed†it but said some would call later to make sure all was well. no one did. Today I got a call (wireless # 916-765-8565 – caller ID did NOT say xfinity or Comcast). They said they were receiving messages from my pc that I had downloaded malicious software. I asked why they weren’t calling from a Comcast phone but he said it was. I said I wasn’t having a problem since it was fixed the other day. He insisted I was. At that point I hung up.
I called Comcast after the call to verify if someone called me. they escalated to research. The reason this was concerning was because they gave me an example of a comcast client that had the SAME experience as me – called Comcast with internet issue and then rec’d a scam call.
