This number is to Card Services, Citi-card, and is a completely honest and legit number to call to activate your debit card (mine was my refund on this debit Citi-card). The reason I have found my way here is because my caller ID app automatically and incorrectly popped open while identifying this number as being reported as SPAM, which is completely wrong. Note the number is 888 and NOT 800, which I think is where the confusion starts. So call it - 888-471-3662, and you will reach Card Services for Citi-card. In my case, DirecTV used Card Services to issue my refund in the form of a debit card, which required me to call this number for an activation, and then the automated gave me a PIN number to use with my debit card and had me hold for less than 60 seconds before stating the confirmation that my card is "now activated". It's real, but some folks are quick to **sume this number is a spammer -- it is NOT.
