They keep calling me just now from around 8am till 9:20am. 8 missed calls, a few end up in quiet voicemails. What do they want? Its an area code I don't recognize and nor am I expecting it and they don't leave any voice mails worth listening to.

Not only did they have my phone number, but they also had my nickname. Scary! He "wanted to help me with my surgery that you recently had concerning a blood clot".
I reported this number to DoNotCall.gov. If enough people report them, hopefully they will be investigated and fined.

Said I called and told them I had a filter for clots installed. Where on earth do they get this info from? I would hate to think my medical records could be hacked, even though I don't have this thing and never called anyone about it. I get lots of calls from them.

I called the number back from a land line vs. them calling my cell 7 times in a hour. foreign person answers and state that they are with the medical health care center. they say that they are not trying to sell anything but then they ask a lot of questions in preparation to sell something or gather personal info. do not take these calls
