These people keep calling me telling me leaving threatening messages. I do not know who they are.

Had a voice mail at 12:04 Central that informed me if I did not call them within 1 hour I would be responsible for a law suit. Could barely understand the female speaking. I returned a call 1.5 hours later and had a pickup but when I asked who I was talking to they hung up. I figure it is spam as I have nothing to be sued over but I want to be safe.

Claims to be from IRS. Is an individual from India??? Says don't hang up, (gives time to trace).
Daughter got same call previous day. Told her she owed money to IRS. She mentioned IRS doesn't make phone calls, they hung up!

I received a call from this number claiming to be the IRS and the man, who had an Irish accent, claimed to be James Brown. I didn't answer so the voice recording (which was a woman's voice) said that if I didn't call back that I would be the only responsible person for all the legal consequences. Not once during that recording did the recording indicate that it was the IRS.
