came up on caller id as C. Mc Whorter. As usual, scams cannot be called back.

Some Middle Eastern or Indian guy I could hardly understand identified himself as being with Microsoft and that they had detected a virus in my computer and wanted to gain remote access. I hung up. Scam.

This caller said that they were calling from Microsoft and that they noticed a problem with my computer over the last couple of days. She asked me to get in front of my computer to resolve the issue. I have no issues with my computer. As a matter of fact it is company issued laptop and if I had issues I would contact our IT department.
1. No one should be contacting you about issues with your computer unless you have solicited **sistance.
2. Microsoft would not be monitoring errors on your computer. This is a scam.
When she asked me for personal info I told her, she was not legitimate and hung up.

Robo call that transferred to Nomorobo, but listing came up on my pc voicemail as C. McWhorter. As usual, scams cannot be called back.

This is a scam. Calling with a bogus message about a windows issue and trying to wreck your system. Do not fall for it!
