I got two phone calls a day from this number early morning and afternoon, and when the answering machine starts, they don't leave any message, kept the phone with continuous sound

This number called me at 8:15 A.M.!!! I am 72 and they woke me up!! Isn't it illegal to call before 9 A.M. anyway? I am on the Do Not Call list, and I still get bombarded with these scam calls!! I never answer unless I recognize a number, and these idiots never leave a message. I'm beginning to think that they get all of our numbers off of the DNC list to irritate us. I can't understand (in my mind) how these scammers think that it's okay to use OUR own phones to irritate us. Doggone it anyway! It's MY phone that I paid for, and I have to pay MY monthly bill. They are infringing on MY rights and using MY phone to do it!! There should be a LAW ('cause they don't have brains) against calling people on their personal phones!!

I got what sounded like an actual person, asked for me by a formal name (not nickname) I never use and once I said 'maybe' they hung up.

I get one or two calls a day from this number. Early morning, late at night, other times during the day. I have it blocked and have had it blocked for over a month, but they just keep calling. So irritating.
