Just received a call saying that they are calling from Windows and that someone is hacking my computer. Wanted me to sit at my computer and follow steps.

Got a phone call from a person stating they were with Vonage asking if the computer was on. Refused and saw this number on the caller ID. This is a scam.

Someone called, presumably from India, and said they were with Microsoft Windows TC Care and asked if I had received their notices about what was happening with my computer (viruses). He asked me to press the Microsoft key and the R key but I refused. I said, how do I know who you are. He gave me this number to call. Rather than call it, I am reporting it since the reverse lookup doesn't say who belongs to that number.
