This caller pretended to be Bank of America and today my bank acct had a $1600 fraudulent check with a counterfeit check go through and they were inquiring as to if I had reported that check and filed a claim. Therefore, because they knew the check number and were aware they were the scammers who did it. You could tell they had broken English and were not who they claimed to be but yet had info about this check. They first asked for my deceased fathers name who use to be in the bank Acct.
