I keep getting calls from this number and its really annoying

I've received 5 or more phone calls a day. There is no answer or recordings. But, after I say hello several times, I hear a hang up sound. There is no message left. When I redial, a machine answer and says that all agents are busy. And, they will recall me within a day. It then hangs up again.
This number originates from my town and neighborhood. I find it very disconcerting.
In the last two days I have gotten many calls from obvious scammers in Upstate NY, Miami, and supposedly Washington DC.

Keeps calling my work line. No response when I answer and never leaves a message. POSSIBLE SCAME! Never say "yes" incase you are recorded.

I mentioned I was recording the call and the woman hung up IMMEDIATELY and never called back.

Keep receiving automated calls repeatedly. This is very annoying. This number has to be KNOCKED OUT!!!
