definitely a scammer...wants information so they can complete an auto sale through craigslist...craigslist DOES NOT do that per information on their site

Same as others- texted after I posted a Craigslist add saying he'd send a cashier's check if I sent my name and mailing address. Cray.

Samething happened to me at 1:09 am, texting me asking me to send him my name and mailing address so he could send me a cashiers check and $50 extra for something off of craigslist. Not happening either and yes every broken English too. Thank you valid number I feel a little better about not doing it now

Something fishy about this phone # ? The guy called John calls me @0115hrs (1:15 am) asking
for my address to buy an item I have posted on
craigslist , wants to send me a cashiers check +

broken English/spelling as it was a text .
