I got a call today; they claimed my RF connection was "loose". All bull. They had my name, address, last 4 of social, account number etc. I knew no way would a legit person read out my last 4 of social, so I hung up. My RF connection was real tight, all bull. I wish I knew what the scam was.

CALLED CLAIMING TO BE COMCAST SAYING I HAD TROUBLE WITH MY INTERNET SPEED AND OPEN WORK ORDER. I CALLED BACK AND THEY HAD MY ADDRESS AND NAME, ETC.

Repeated calls, no message.

Repeated calls like this: Hello I'm calling from Comcast regarding an open service order on your account. Although you may or may not be experiencing any problems at this time. Our network monitoring system has identified issues with your Internet speeds and we were hoping we could work with you for a few minutes to resolve this issue. Please call us at 844-482-6747 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. You may begin to experience service issues if we do not get in contact with you. Again the number to reach us is 844-482-6747. Thank you and have a great day." Scam????

Have had the same experience. I was in touch with Comcast who told me we do NOT have an "open order" and they are investigating.

They call themselves Comcast and say we have an open work order (do not). We "have been identified as having a slow connection" and that we need to call them to resolve upcoming issues with our service. They gave a call back number of 844-482-6747
