If you get a call from this number it’s a fraud!!!! The call and tell you someone filed a complaint against you and want you to call a different number to clarify the complaint. And if you don’t a judge will rule against you.

I had a woman call me from this number saying someone filed a complaint with me and to get a pen to write a number down to call and take care of the complaint, however if I didn’t call it would go to court and the judge will rule against me.

This number (469) 276-2988 came up on my caller ID as a call from Irving, Texas. Someone by the name of Megan called me from this number looking for someone. She said someone had made a complaint against this person and if I said I did not know this person that they would have to file a fraud claim against them. I asked again what was she talking about and she would not tell me. She told me to call the number she was going to give to me with the reference number. She did not want to listen at me but just wanted to give me information whether I wanted it or not. She was rude and a bully. She was very threatening.

She did not identify herself in the beginning until I stopped her from talking and asked who is this and why are you calling me? She said she was with GIA, which she said was a general locating agency. She said someone had made a complaint against this person and if I said I did not know this person that they would have to file a fraud claim against them. I asked again what was she talking about and she would not tell me any thing and if I wanted to know I would have to call the information she was trying to force me to take. She did not want to listen at me but just wanted to give me information whether I wanted it or not. She was very rude to try force or make me take information on someone whether I knew them or not. She was trying to bully me and I did feel threaten. When I did not give her what she wanted and kept asking questions, she did not want to talk any more. I tried to call this number back several times. It would not ring but just hung up. I begin to do a computer search to find information.
