I did not recognize number, and do not know anyone in GA, so did not answer. Was a poorly done automated message saying there is a lawsuit against me and further information is required. From reading all other comments looks like an IRA scam

I am registered with the 'do not call' registry and this phone # calls me atleast 2 times a day. I've not called back only because it seems odd that if I were being sued by the IRS, I've not received any documented mail from the IRS to notify me of any lawsuit nor has the # ever left me a voicemail. Tells me it's more than likely a scam off the get go, which I see that others have experienced as well.

Knew my family members first and last name..then asked for my date of bOrth and social security number claiming to be the irs. Got angry and hung up saying they wouldn't help me since I wouldn't give my social. How are people doing this documented online by so many people and able to continue scamming without even changing their number because obviously nothing has happened to theM? So wrong

Called this number back, told them they were 'live on the air'. Said I was a DJ in WA state, and 'interviewed' him for about 12 minutes. Was very polite, excited about being 'on the radio'. Got really flustered when I kept asking why he was saying he was from the IRS, when the IRS says they have no affiliation with this phone number. It was a fun morning!

Received a call from this number saying they were from the IRS. I confronted them as a scam and they said "No, no, it's not like that man". I hung up and reported it to the FBI.
