They claim to be a debt collector for Cleveland Clinic, but they were looking to back bill from a visit over 5.5 years ago & asked me if I had proof of payment. Only asked my name & YEAR of birth (public information) and then as soon as I told them to contact my insurance company and refer to their contract and back billing policy, she quickly got off of the phone. Not to mention, my health insurance records online only go back 5 years, plus they did not use two VALID patient identifiers as required for proper billing.
