This number claims to be somebody from Lyft driving service, but was received as a text. Then when responding, they sent a new message using (213) 205-0114. The first message was supposedly from Lyft as text from the number (213) 805-7753. They asked to fill out an application for being a Lyft driver through a link. When the application is complete, the number (213) 205-0034 responded to apply for a car loan with a link. When I questioned this and said I wasn't going to fill out anything else till I had an interview or knew more about the job schedule and other questions I had, they or it responded back with a message to sign up for health insurance with the link they provided from a new number (213) 205-0114. Since the responses came through text and from these 3 different numbers. I questioned them about it on why tgey text and not call, and I have gotten no response from either of these 3 numbers, or even a new number. It shows all messages were just automated responses when a person text these numbers back. Be cautious if you get a call or text from these LA area code numbers. I should mention it was a response to a driver position posted on Craigslist. I replied with interest to help expose scams out there since this sounded too good to be true. They said full-time, car provided, and make around $725/week. If you see that or similar ads on Craigslist, they may be legit since Lyft is a legit driving service company, but use caution and pay attention to what numbers you receive responses from. If they are all different, even slightly, try replying with anything, especially a question. If you get a response that ignores the question and is replied to fairly quickly with something else entirely, it's probably just automated, which means by filling out anything from provided links could go to anyone to get the information you provide. Hopefully this is another scam exposed.
