we received a call from this number stating that our computer is hacked and asked if I know anyone in Russia or China. They are from the computer licensing department and want me to verify the license code in my computer so they can terminate the access.

of course i answered the first time they called. and since, they've been calling 2-3-5 times a day. i accidentally answered it again. silly me! i hang up before i even hear any voice. at about 3 seconds. i figured it was a scam. good to know. thank you!

They claim to have a special code from your computer that they want you to verify. Just another scam. When you call them out on their scam, they become very rude. They don't even speak good english at all.
