I received a message from this number that was misleading and threatening. I knew it was a scam as I had received calls before like this in Oct of 2015. I reported it to the State of WA Attorney General who then supposedly forwarded it to the AG of my State. This time, however, when I returned the call and called out the person as a scam and being in violation, told him to not call my number again, he was saying I was going to be arrested, I owed over $4,000 (untrue) etc the guy called me vulgar names, etc and I ended the call. People who receive these calls should report them to the AGs office.

Lady identified herself as agent " " from the IRS and they were going to file a lawsuit in Federal Court. After this I told her to go ahead and file. I received a similar call about 6 months ago except it was a male and the amount was about $ 839.72. If I paid immediately the lawsuit would not escalate. THIS IS A BOGUS CALL. THE IRS WOULD NOT CALL YOU ON THE PHONE.

Claiming they are the IRS wanting 3k paid or threatening to seize property and bank accounts.

I received a call, couldn't understand the person. Said he was from the internal revenue service. I told him that if the IRS had a problem they would contact me by mail. It is out of King County Wa Seattle. Carrier. Broadvox-CLEC,LLC-WA..Landline. It is a scam.
