Reports for (202) 836-9725
This is a number that is calling my phone over and over again asking for Sylvia. I have asked them to take my number off their list but I continue to get 5 calls a day. I was actually threatened by one of the employees after letting them know not to call me back.

They call and said that I have $9700 in free grant money because I have paid my taxes on time. Can you say "SCAM"!

Clearly an irritating scam, since they're in D.C., offering government grants, and I'm Canadian, living in Canada, no affiliation with the US at all. I say, let 'em keep calling. I hope it costs them a fortune in long distance charges!

Was called twice in one day. Ignored the first call then attempted to answer the second but it froze my phone. Blocked the number right after. **sumed it was political crap sense it was from DC, but not actually sure.

Man with middle Eastern accent telling me that my name was randomly selected by the government to receive $7000 in grant money. To be used for whatever I want i.e. Pay bills remodeling education etc. Sounds suspicious to me so I told him I wasn't interested and hung up.
Last time I got a call like this the guys said it was through the education department. He went over some questions a "supervisor" would ask and he gave me instructions on how to answer, exact words he wanted me to say. ( hello red flags) he wanted me to talk to his "supervisor and basically say I intended to use the money for furthering my education even though I made it clear to him I did not as I am disabled & can't work or go to school. I told him I wasn't interested several times and he tried to talk me into doing it anyway as it was "free" money why wouldn't I want to. Told him again I wasn't interested and that it sounded like fraud to me. He wouldn't take no for an answer so I hung up. He immediately called me back asking why I hung up & why I didn't want "free" money. I again informed him that him telling me what to say (lying) to his "supervisor" sounded like fraud to me and I hung up again.

Imitating the IRS asking to send money. Asked him to stop calling me (since he calls every day) and he said "Oh I will call you as often as possible" ***k off.
