Got a call today from 202-666-6999 saying because I was a loyal citizen and had not been arrested or filed bankruptcy in the last years I won a $9000.00 grant from U S Government. The caller had a thick accent, had my first and last name and my phone number and zip code. I asked if this was a government agency how come they did not have my legal name and only had my nick name...he stammered and had no real answer but he also asked how old I was and if I was single or happily married...funny think is, all this info is from my facebook...so...I guess I will be removing all info from my facebook account and will complain to facebook about the privacy breaches. I was also told to call 253-275-4275 and give the code JN225 to get my grant money. When I asked where he was from he said "I am US Citizen and I live in Texas in Greenville City. Funny I am not sure there is any such place...can you say FRAUD? I knew that you could!

Maybe a Arab calling and said i would receive a 9000 dollar grant. Said the us government was just gonna give me this money. In calling someone at the Whitehouse cause I want my grant. !

Received calls from this number, did not answer. I receive calls from these people almost every week. Enough is enough. I told them I know it is a scam and to remove me off their calling list but I still receive calls.

I received a call from them today (10-13) telling me that I have been selected by the Government to receive $9000.00. I can use the money to pay off bills, make purchases (no alcohol, cigarettes, lottery tickets). How would you like to receive your money? In cash through Money Gram, or Western Union. I hung up, they called back twice, but I ignored them.

I just received a call from this number telling me that I had been selected to receive a $9000.00 grant from the government( by someone whom didn't speak very good English at that) He told me to call another number 253-271-4087 to complete the process so that I may receive my money! Ha I 'm not doing that suck an egg!!

This foreign person just called me from.this number (202) 666-6999 and said I won $9000 . It is in Federal Reserve Bank in NY. I did not allow him to go further with the questioning . I asked him not to call again and that this was a scam , he hung up the phone quickly while I was still talking. Which proves it is a scam.

caller asked to speak with Mark (I think) I said you have the wrong number.
He said no this was the right number so I said well there is no Mark that lives here. He asked well, what is your name?.....Getting ridiculous now; so I asked for his name. He then makes a very strange noise and hangs up. Total nonsense, don't even answer the phone if you get a call from this number.

This number 202.666.6999 has called me 3 times a days for the the last 4 days. I don't answer and they leave no voicemail. Must be a scam.

This number might allow callers to lift data files from your phone and transition int your ether or internet. Be Afraid worst they could tap youe hone and wase drop..but the wirst tap youw phine and always hear your call...further they could add a line in yor phone without authority.

Didn't answer it. No one leaves a message. I figure it if is important, they can leave a message. I also received a call from 202-888-5879 (about four times) that I did not answer and they did not leave a message. Since those two numbers are from the 202 area code, they are probably for the same thing, but I do not know what that is!
